Technicians are responsible for the following:
Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
Communicates with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
Examines the vehicle to determine if additional safety work is required for a quality repair.
Performs all body repairs according to estimate.
Performs welding, soldering, body alignment and oxidizing operations.
Operates all equipment in collision center in a safe manner.
Maintains stall in an orderly and clean manner.
Documents all work performed for the duration of the job and as soon as the job is completed.
Uses basic mathematical skills to solve simple equations for correct mixing of chemicals.
Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous wastes.
Must be pro active and ready to work in a busy environment without compromising safety and quality.

High school Diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years automotive experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
I-CAR Certification is a plus
